Abstract

In this years project course in Applied Mechanics (TMPM10,12 ECTS), with the master profile of mechanical and aeronautical engineering (M, MEC and AER program), three different research-related project will be initiated in the fluid mechanics track (with 15 students in total). Together, all projects involve some level of multi-physics modelling of fluid flow and heat transfer, where CFD simulation using HPC need to be utilized for either resolving details of turbulent flows or for simulating over very long time-scales.
