Autonomous Experimental Platform for Advanced Radiation Detection Materials
Abstract
The project aims to develop an AI-driven autonomous experimental platform for the discovery, characterization, and optimization of advanced radiation-detection materials, with a focus on molecular glass scintillators.
The platform will integrate automated sample preparation, robotic operation, optical and radiation-response measurements, reproducible data processing, and AI-guided decision-making. By linking material preparation, characterization, and analysis in a closed loop, it will enable systematic and continuous materials development while reducing manual work and human involvement in radiation-related experiments.
The expected outcome is a reusable autonomous laboratory framework for accelerating the development of new scintillator materials and establishing their composition–structure–property relationships.
