Abstract
This project aims to investigate the time-course, maintenance, and individual predictors of brain plasticity when learning a new motor task. Repeated structural scanning of the brain with ultra-high resolution MRI at 7 Tesla on healthy participants learning a new motor task. This project will shed light on the mechanisms behind rapid plasticity in the human brain, with implications for cognitive interventions and rehabilitation therapies across the lifespan.
