Abstract
Optical DNA mapping is a fast way of providing gene information, full coarse-grained sequence and lengths of single DNA molecules. My theory group brought this method to applications together with several experimental partners.
We are now bringing the optical DNA mapping technology to a high-throughput setting, which requires large computational resources. In this project we will assemble optical DNA mapping data from of the order 1 million DNA molecules. We will also match optical DNA mappings to theory databases.
