Abstract
TFYA75 ( https://studieinfo.liu.se/kurs/tfya75 ) is the physics part of the bachelor project course for the Y-program. This proposal is for computational time for the 2 project groups in this course that are of computational nature. The groups consist of ~6-8 students each. One project is primarily focused on visualisation of electronic structure data, and will only use a small amount of compute. The second project is focused on an alloy problem using DFT computations with Quantum Espresso, and will use the majority of the compute. See below for more details.
The project-work part of the course starts ~end of February/beginning of March and runs throughout VT2025
