Abstract

Selected projects that will use the resources relate to chemical engineering research. Large eddy simulation of turbulence with focus on understanding turbulence by following the turbulent structures in time. Simulation of breakup and coalescence of fluid particles in turbulent flows. The forces acting on the fluid particles are quantified using large eddy simulation and multiphase models. Simulation of reaction and mass and heat transfer in plasma reactor.
