Abstract
This project studies the use of HPC for solving topology optimization problems involving fluid-structure interaction. An important application is design of hydraulic components for minimum pressure drop with limits on deformation and stresses. The project is part of a research project and will be carried our mainly by 5th year undergraduate students supervised by the applicant.
