Cryo-EM of transmembrane eukaryotic transporter
Abstract
Cryo-EM is a powerful technique that allows for the determination of the three-dimensional structure of macromolecules, including transmembrane solute transporters. It has been reported to be applied in structural studies of various transmembrane transporters in both apo state and in complex with their respective substrates.
The project aims to determine the structure of a transmembrane transporter of interest using cryo-EM method. We have carried out data collection at the SciLifeLab Cryo-EM facility and use Cryosparc, Relion, Topaz as well as Scipion softwares through the PreSTO program for the data processing.
