Abstract: In this project, I am delving into the analysis of image datasets acquired from the Department of Physics, aiming to uncover significant patterns within the visual data. Employing a combination of advanced statistical and machine-learning methods, my objective is to extract meaningful insights that contribute to the broader understanding of the dataset. However, my initial analysis on the current computer infrastructure revealed extended processing times surpassing acceptable thresholds. In response, I implemented a parallel algorithm to improve efficiency. Despite these efforts, the anticipated completion time remains impractical, projecting a timeframe of approximately one month. This limitation underscores the necessity for access to a more robust computational resource to expedite the analysis and enhance the overall productivity of the project.
