  Abstract
  This project studies the use of HPC for solving topology optimization problems involving fluid-structure problems. An important application is design of hydraulic components for minimum pressure drop with limits on deformation and stresses. The project is a pre-study for a potential research project, and will be carried our mainly by undergraduate students supervised by the applicant.
