Abstract

Facilitation of transfer of 6 TB anonymized data from a research group at VGR to AIDA Data Hub DGX-2 system, since our usual preferred user friendly transfer mechanism (AIDA Nextcloud, operated by KTH IT, SciLifeLab Data Center dckube system) currently is full, and their next system is not yet in place. The researchers guarantee that the data are anonymous, and understand that it is their responsibility to ensure this, and have collaborated with lawyers/infosec at VGR to ensure that this is indeed the case. We intend to use this storage project for the time it takes to upload the data and then download it, after which point this storage project can be terminated. I am aware that the upper limit for small storage applications is 5 TB, however this matter is urgent, very short lived indeed, and the total volume for the transfer is 6 TB. Please advise on the proper way forward.
