Abstract

The proposal consists of the following two research parts: Part 1: Optimization of Stockholm TMA in 4d scale Part 2: Unmanned Aerial Vehicles Traffic Management (UTM) Part 1 is a continuation of our previous project Optimization of Stockholm TMA in 4dscale (SNIC 2021/5-23), a collaborative project LIU+LFV (Luftfartsverket), in which we work on optimization of the aircraft arrival routes within Stockholm airspace. The problem is formulated as a Mixed-Integer program (MIP) and is implemented using Python and Gurobi solver. Part 2 of the project consists of several different projects (both Swedish- and European-funded) in which we work on developing a body of research to support establishing an efficient UTM system for future dense urban unmanned traffic.
