Abstract

In this computational project we will study transport in high-temperature and other unconventional superconductors. We utilise our own codes for the quasiclassical theory of superconductivity and tight-binding Green's function theory. We will study d-wave superconductors in realistic nanoscale device geometries with transport of charge, heat and spin. The efforts will be relevant within the broad fields of superconducting spintronics, superconducting quantum technologies, and basic science. The calculations are done with our own Julia codes, C++ and cuda, and for the tight-binding methods we have our own Fortran code based on a so-called Knitting algorithm..
