Tetralith has fast CPU and interconnect between processors which enables the possibility of running multiple calculations simultaneously. Tetralith will be used for running calculations, utilizing empirical potential structure refinement (EPSR) software which works well using CPU, studying sugars, specifically trehalose, role in the stabilization and cryopreservation of myoglobin. Particularly, structures are going to be solved. The role of disaccharides as a cryoprotectant is of huge importance when it comes to cryopreservation i.e. the preservation of materials at low temperatures, like in case of covid-19 mRNA-vaccines. Improving cryopreservation of biomaterials including human body tissue and blood would increase the survival rate related to human transplantations.
