Abstract

Following an OpenMP training workshop on June 1-2 (https://enccs.se/events/2021/06/enccs-csc-openmp/), ENCCS in collaboration with Intel will host an OpenMP hackathon for teams of researchers and developers who want to either: - implement OpenMP in their code (for either CPUs or GPUs), or - optimize their existing OpenMP implementation using state-of-the-art Intel tools. A detailed description of the event can be found at https://enccs.se/events/2021/06/enccsintel-openmp-hackathon/ 6 teams of research software developers will be accepted to the event and these should have access to high-end GPUs for development and testing, as well as compiler toolchains for OpenMP threading, tasks and GPU offloading (available from OpenMP 4.0).
