Abstract

Information extraction is one of the fundamental tasks in natural language processing and computational linguistics. The modern approaches for information extraction heavily rely on massive algebraic computations performed on graphical processing units. In this project, I aim at exploring the effectiveness of neural language models for information extraction. The project's computational needs are due to the large deep learning modules used in both the language and information extraction modules. The project is tightly connected to my postdoctoral study supervised by Marco Kuhlmann at Linköping University.
