Abstract

The project aims at providing storage for enabling the various modelling activities within our research group. That includes principally, at the moment, running the following three models: - TM5-4DVAR: global, coarse resolution atmospheric transport model - FLEXPART: regional, high-resolution atmospheric transport model - LUMIA: regional atmospheric inversion tool - SDMB3: simplified ecosystem model In the following year, we also plan to setup and start using the STILT transport model, in complement to FLEXPART. All models require large volumnes of input data (mainly meteorological data, i.e. large datasets of gridded data). The transport models (TM5 and FLEXPART) produce also large amount of data that is then used by LUMIA, and therefore needs to remain accessible from tetralith.
