Abstract

In this project the FLEXible PARTicle dispersion model (FLEXPART) will be run. This will be done to evaluate which air masses that has affected aerosol particle measurements conducted within the Aerosol Research Group at Lund University. The airmass origin is crucial in source apportion measurements where we try to determine the sources of aerosol particles. Possible cites that will be used in the project is the Actris and ICOS measurement site Hyyltemossa (1 h north of Lund) where continuous measurements of aerosol properties take place. FLEXPART can also be used for sites where shorter measurement campaigns take place. FLEXPART is an advanced model that is highly suitable for this project.
