Abstract

Currently, the novel corona virus SARS-CoV-2 and the associated disease COVID-19 is having a major impact on our society. Many countries are on lockdown and there has been a high number of casualties. In this project, we want utilize mathematical modelling to better understand how SARS-CoV-2 spreads throughout society. Both to get a better prediction of the future for societies and the impact of lockdown mechanisms, and to better understand potential future viruses. We also want to use modelling to further understand the mechanisms of the virus in vivo in human tissue. We hope that our modelling work can provide insights into this horrible disease, potentially to save human lives, and to assist policy makers in applying the right level of restrictions. and also to understand how the virus affects human tissue. We hope that
