Abstract
Organic-inorganic hybrid perovskite materials have been the focus of several researchers since the first study on lead halide perovskite as light absorber in solar cells. However, despite the extensive research efforts, these solar cells remain with limited stability and are highly sensitive to humidity. This issue can be tackled by using colloidal quantum dots (CQDs) which show an improved stability in water. We need to calculate which material is stable to be used for efficient solar cells.
