Abstract
Ecological networks, e.g. food webs, describe how species interact with each other. It is known that they are comprised of groups of species, sharing similar predators and/or prey. Rather than organizing species by trophic level, it is possible to group species in more detailed functional groups based on their interactions. Here, we want to look at how functional groups differ between different subregions in larger food webs. Potential differences will then be investigated in order to find explanatory variables.
