Abstract

Using trait-based approach to investigate the response capacity of species communities to predicted climate change scenarios. I will use a metacommunity approach with trait-based modelling of species interaction. A general framework has been developed that allows specification of any kind of ecological interaction with both large and small scale spatial interactions. Several phenomenon are going to be tested, such as network properties of the connection matrix, different kinds of species competitions and evolutionary processes. Parallel processing is very suitable to test the span of system setup and parametrisation.
