Abstract

This project is associated with an on-going paper titled "Probabilistic Estimation of Instantaneous Frequency from Chirp Signal with Gaussian Process". The aim of this project is to conduct the experiments required by this paper. Chirp signals are widely seen in many applicatons, such as radar tracking, frequency modulation, and astronomy. They are signals that have time-varying instantenous frequencies. This paper uses a probabilistic approach, that is, Gaussian process to estiamte these instantenous frequencies. The PI of this project Zheng Zhao has many years experience using slurm-based computational clusters, in particular, the Triton (https://scicomp.aalto.fi/triton/) from Aalto University.
