Abstract

Perovskite solar cells have been attracted a large amount of interest recently in the photovoltaic community and even nominated as noble prize candidate for Chemistry 2017. To further understand and optimize these newly emerged class of solar cell materials, a proper investigation of excited state is necessary which is directly related to working conditions of the device despite the it is not probed deeply yet. The topic of this project is tightly related to my previous projects in SNIC by which perovskite solar cell materials has been investigated from different aspects and resulted in many high iimpact and well cited publications as well as international collaborations. In this project we will probe the dynamics of electrons and holes at excited state before and after thermalization. Specifically, dielectric relaxation and geometrical changes in excited state will be studied and compared with our experimental espectation (i.e. see ACSNANO 11,2823-- and Nano Energy 38,537).
