Abstract

In this application, HPC resources for advanced transient simulations of aerodynamic and aero-acoustic phenomena are sought. Large Eddy Simulations (LES) or Detached Eddy Simulations (DES) are to be performed for applications such as flow control using plasma acutators, cooling fan noise, aerodynamics and aeroacoustics of moving ground vehicles as well as development of aero-acoustic simulations methods suitable for HPC environments.
