Abstract

Emissions from volcanic eruptions may cause severe damage to people and infrastructures.The volcano Nyorongore in Congo is one major global SO2 hotspot. It is continously emitting significant amounts. This have great impact on the health of people living in the vicinity of the vulcanoe. To asses the risks and provide climatological information on concentrations the meteorological conditions and dispersion of the emissions will be modelled.
